Description

We are seeking a Portfolio Information Analyst (Loans Information) to join our Global Service Centre (GSC) at HSBC. As a Portfolio Information Analyst, you will provide timely and reliable information to support decision-making, control, and regulatory compliance for our credit portfolio.

Job Summary: Your primary responsibility will be to generate reports, analyse data, and validate information to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and adherence to standard methodologies and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate periodic operational, financial, and regulatory reports for decision-making and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Analyse, monitor, and manage portfolio information, designing and creating solutions for accessing information.
  • Deliver output files and agreed-upon information to internal and external clients within set deadlines.
  • Exploit and analyse data to identify trends, behaviour, and areas for improvement in processes.
  • Provide support during audits, issuing information, and following up on observations.
  • Respond to regulatory authority requests (CNBV and Bank of Mexico).
  • Resolve incidents related to report generation, analysing causes, managing, and closing them.
  • Promote automation and continuous improvement, proposing ideas and participating in process automation projects.
  • Communicate actively with clients and information providers.
  • Ensure operational effectiveness, documenting processes (CEDI), and implementing risk mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate and work as part of a team, communicating internally, training, and achieving objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems/TI, Robotics and Automation, Economics, Finance, or Business (or related fields).
  • At least 1 year of experience in generating reports, data management, participation in automation projects, and coordination/follow-up with different teams; or recent graduate with excellent attitude, proactivity, result-oriented approach, and self-taught profile.
  • Intermediate SQL, Python, PAD (Power Automate Desktop) skills.
  • Desirable: knowledge of AI and Machine Learning.
  • Experience with Teradata, Hogan, Kroner, and OHC applications is desirable.
  • English language skills are desirable.
