Software Release Manager

NVIDIA Networking team is looking for an outstanding Software Release Manager to manage exciting software releases for our leading firewall, SDK, and NOS switch products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the release is delivered on time and in high quality, coordinating between development and testing groups, and between global software groups.

Responsibilities:

• Be an effective leader in crafting and driving the delivery of high-quality software in an efficient way
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Architecture, and Marketing to coordinate the release of products and ensure the release meets the schedule and quality standards
• Take full ownership of the firewall, SDK, and NOS products from kickoff to signoff
• Work with planning and tracking systems to lead the release progress and build release indicators
• Partner with QA teams to ensure alignment of all tests between development, verification, and QA groups
• Conduct release meetings and communicate release status, resolving issues and raising red flags when needed
• Collaborate with teams across the globe to drive process changes that can help improve development and release workflow
• Define and improve processes, guidelines, and checklists across the Switch software group

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience as a Release Manager or software project leader with 8+ years of overall experience
• Great interpersonal skills with multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and organized
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience in leading global projects
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Excel, Atlassian Confluence, enterprise ticket systems (e.g., Redmine, Jira, TFS)

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., MS PowerBI)
• Good technical know-how and familiarity with Networking and Cloud technologies
• Experience with Agile software development methodology and practices
• Linux OS technologies knowledge
• GitHub knowledge
