Description
Samsara is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join their team in San Francisco. As an intern, you will work on high-impact engineering challenges across their connected operations platform. You may help build the backend infrastructure that powers their IoT platform, create intuitive user experiences, or strengthen the infrastructure behind their React Native app.
Responsibilities:
- Help build and maintain software that runs directly on Samsara hardware
- Work on technology that powers physical operations at a scale most engineers never experience
- Collaborate with product and design teams to rapidly iterate on features that deliver real customer value
- Participate in customer interviews and use metrics to ensure your work translates into real outcomes
Requirements:
- Currently a junior-year student on track to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Spring/Summer/Fall 2028 or Winter 2029
- Experience with technologies such as Golang, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and React Native
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles

Compensation:
- Hourly base salary: $61.90 USD
