Manager SAP Basis Solutions

We are seeking an experienced Manager SAP Basis Solutions to join our team. As a Manager SAP Basis Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of our global SAP system landscape, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP platforms.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of the global SAP system landscape
• Performing operative SAP basis administration, including system monitoring, transport management, job management, print management, and interface management, as well as performance analysis and error correction
• Planning and technically implementing upgrades, release changes, migrations, system copies, and template and international rollout projects
• Administering and further developing SAP platforms, including SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition
• Coordinating and technically managing external service providers, hosting providers, and SAP consultants, as well as monitoring agreed service quality
• Technically conducting and accompanying SAP system measurements and analysing SAP license usage to identify and implement technical optimization potential
• Continuously optimizing and automating SAP operating processes with regard to availability, security, compliance, performance, and future viability

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed degree in computer science or business informatics, or a comparable qualification with corresponding qualifying professional experience
• Practical experience in SAP basis administration and the operation of complex SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA system landscapes
• In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA, as well as in the areas of monitoring, transport management, system copies, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting
• Experience with hybrid SAP landscapes and modern SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, and ideally SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition
• Knowledge of SAP security, roles, and authorizations, certificate management, high availability, and backup and disaster recovery concepts
• Experience in technical SAP system measurement and evaluation of license usage, as well as in the technical management of external service providers
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, pronounced communication ability
• Very good German and English skills
