Description
We are seeking a Target Security Specialist (TSS) to join our Supply Chain Asset Protection team. As a TSS, you will contribute to a safe and secure work environment at a Target supply chain facility through best practices and physical security program execution.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating Target-owned vehicles to execute yard and perimeter patrol routines
- Following emergency procedures and protocols in the event of emergencies, including incident notification to building leadership
- Following best practices and procedures relating to truck gate operations and visitor management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- To be at least 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations
- A valid driver's license for the state you are employed in
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced environment, accomplishing multiple tasks within established times independently
- Ability to work in and be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to operate technology systems with minimal direction after receiving training
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Prior experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to be trained and act on de-escalation tactics
- Ability to safely conduct internal and external patrols frequently throughout your shift
- Ability to quickly and safely respond to security incidents in all locations on property

The pay range for this role is $17.98 - $30.48 per hour, with potential additional compensation in the form of a shift differential.
