The role of a Senior Developer Advocate with a focus on content creation involves publishing deep-dive videos, staying updated with the latest trends in search and AI, building open-source demos, and contributing to Elasticsearch Labs and the YouTube channel.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality technical videos focused on search, AI/ML, observability, and Elasticsearch as a platform.
• Explore and explain how Elasticsearch integrates with other tools and protocols in the ecosystems.
• Prototype and publish sample applications showing end-to-end Search + AI or observability use cases.
• Bring a creative twist to Elastic's content creation to keep existing users engaged and capture new audiences.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on hands-on experience and community interactions.

Requirements:

• A proven track record of creating highly technical and engaging videos.
• Strong technical background and experience in an engineering role.
• Empathy for the community to help them solve their issues.
• Comfortable working with a highly distributed team.
• Experience working self-driven and self-organizing.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
