Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Atrium Health Cabarrus - Outpatient Rehabilitation: Gateway. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer programs of Physical Therapy to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients enhance physical and functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
• Conduct Physical Therapy programs to meet patient goals
• Provide supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Tech/Aides as required
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy program required
• NC license for Physical Therapy required
• BLS required per policy guidelines
• Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead
• Lifting of patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
