We're looking for a Data Scientist, Finance to join our team. You'll play a key role in building systems that shape how companies manage billions.
Compensation
The target base salary range is $137,120 – $297,330, with equity offered. Final compensation depends on location and level.

Ramp automates financial transactions for over 85,000 companies, authorizing payments, flagging risk, and categorizing spend.
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack models to consume, transform, and expose data to stakeholders and production systems
- Drive experimental design, testing, and best practices
- Contribute to the data team's culture, influencing processes, tools, and systems for scalable decision-making
- Collaborate with Finance teams to develop financial insights and inform business decisions
- Work with data engineering teams to capture, move, store, and transform raw data into actionable insights
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science, Software Engineering, or Finance
- Strong AI proficiency and ability to adopt new skills quickly
- Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly improving start-up environment
- Familiarity with financial metrics and processes
- Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with modern data stack (Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hightouch)
- Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Omni, Sigma, Hex)
- Strong intuition on business strategy and customer empathy
- Experience partnering with finance teams or in the payments and financial technology space
