Description

We are seeking a Senior Signal and Power Integrity Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA. You will lead board/system SI design activities, including PCB stack-up design, material selection, and post-layout analysis. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • System-level signal integrity simulation of PCIE, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB, and other interfaces.
  • Analyzing and optimizing Power Delivery Networks (PDNs) on PCBs.
  • Collaborating with Package and PCB Design teams to craft solutions for system SI/PI performance.
  • Working with Application Engineering to support customer board designs.
  • Conducting TDR & VNA measurements for PKG/PCB material characterization and model correlation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a SI/PI engineer.
  • A good understanding of electromagnetics, channel components, and transmission line theory.
  • Experience with designing and implementing high-speed electrical interfaces such as PCIE, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with HFSS, Sigrity, Hspice, or similar industry-standard simulation tools.
  • Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and Constraints Manager, or other PCB stack-up designer tools.
  • Understanding of the impacts of high-volume PCB manufacturing on channel signal integrity.
