Full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Atrium Health Kings Mountain.

The successful candidate will evaluate patients, select and administer assessment techniques, and synthesize information to establish an appropriate patient care plan.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop a care plan
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patients
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aides as required

Physical Requirements:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead
• Lifting of patients, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• BLS certification
