Lead Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence.

Purpose of the role As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Barclays, you will design, develop, and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in Full Stack Software Engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in back-end development using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Experience with DevSecOps, PaaS Openshift / K8S, GitLab, JIRA, SonarQube, Prisma, and Wiz.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing, and software quality engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within Corporate Banking, Payments technology environments.
• Experience with distributed systems, high-volume transaction processing, and real-time integration platforms.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
