Physical Therapist

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Thief River Falls, MN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in transforming the healthcare experience and providing access to world-class healthcare in America's heartland.

The successful candidate will have a salary range of $33.00 - $52.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
• Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
• Utilizes tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
• Documents client/patient/resident information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans.
• Educates clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents.
• Exhibits flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules/assignments.
• Participates in activities to promote the department and Sanford Health.
• Interacts with individuals outside of the department, including providers, case managers, and third-party payers.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care.
• Provides ongoing education and training to peers in areas of expertise.

Qualifications:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
