Internal Communications Manager, Tech

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to its Core Tech organization. The successful candidate will own the internal communications strategy for their portfolio within Core Tech, becoming an expert in the team's work and a trusted member of its leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal communications strategies for Core Tech
• Serve as a hands-on advisor to executives, helping them craft key messages and communications
• Translate complex technical work into engaging narratives for employees across various functions
• Anticipate communications needs and develop plans for launches, incidents, and organizational changes
• Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise
• Plan and execute internal events like all-hands and AMAs
• Collaborate with the broader internal communications team to ensure consistent messaging

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of experience in communications or an adjacent field
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to distill complex technical decisions into simple narratives
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
• Ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners
• Strong understanding of organizational culture and ability to recognize authentic moments worth amplifying

Strong candidates may also:

• Have experience communicating about security, infrastructure, or other technical domains
• Have worked at AI companies, frontier tech companies, or organizations with rapid growth
• Have built or run internal communications programs during periods of rapid organizational growth

The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.
