Description
We are looking for a technically capable and adaptable Actuarial Ecosystem Solution Analyst to support and optimize the tooling and processes that power our actuarial workflows.
This role works across cloud platforms (Azure and GCP) and partners closely with actuarial and data teams to improve integration, automation, and the overall technology ecosystem.
While prior experience with actuarial or data-related tools (e.g., Pathwise, Prophet, Databricks, Unify) is an advantage, it is not required. We welcome candidates with strong technical aptitude, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance the tooling ecosystem used by actuarial teams, ensuring usability, stability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Actuarial, Data, and Technology stakeholders to understand process needs and co-develop effective solutions.
- Assist with integration and configuration of tooling such as Unify, and Databricks in a cloud environment.
- Enable use of actuarial modeling tools like Pathwise and Prophet within Azure and GCP platforms.
- Contribute to tool documentation, troubleshooting, user support, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Learn and adopt new technologies and tools aligned with actuarial domain requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Exposure to tools such as Databricks, Unify, or similar platforms is a plus, not mandatory.
- Interest or exposure to actuarial modeling software such as Pathwise or Prophet is a bonus.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Experience using AI-powered assistants and productivity tools to research solutions, generate scripts, troubleshoot issues, analyze documentation, and accelerate delivery of technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and learning mindset, with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a structured and proactive approach to task ownership and delivery.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-tool environment.
- Strong self-learning capability with the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new technologies, platforms, business domains through effective use of available resources, including AI-assisted tools.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or working with actuarial or risk teams is a plus.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) are a bonus.
