General Maintenance

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a General Maintenance technician based at Richmond Raceway.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and track services duties. This will involve operating a variety of equipment, basic office systems knowledge, and providing general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive maintenance functions, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance/repairs
• Welding, cutting, and fabricating
• Testing repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency
• Requisitioning parts and equipment with supervisor's approval
• Maintaining records and reports
• Providing general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Preparing, maintaining, and restoring the track
• Cleaning the track, including sweeping, blowing, and washing
• Performing general maintenance around the facility, including painting
• Operating and maintaining various pieces of equipment, including vehicles, lifts, and heavy machinery
• Installing and storing signage throughout the property
• Assisting with fleet management and inventory

The ideal candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years' experience and/or training in building services or business operations
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utilities, and facility maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform hands-on work and safely move equipment and materials
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required for events
• A valid driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record
