The EA SPORTS UFC franchise offers the electrifying spectacle and entertainment of MMA for over 20 million players across the globe. It delivers fluid and responsive mixed martial arts through inventive gameplay technology.
As a Visual Designer on the EA SPORTS UFC team, you will work with UX and game designers to translate their designs into high-quality UI mockups. You will translate briefs into visual systems and production-ready layouts, refine existing graphics for approvals and localization needs, and create and refine style guides containing typography, colors, and layout.
Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong Graphic Design and UI Design ability
- 3+ Years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design
- Experience designing for UI in video games
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After effects)
- Familiarity with Game development and UI and UX pipelines
Core Skills And Experience:
- Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills
- Knowledge of accessibility standards across digital channels
- Experience preparing assets for localization and production
- UI development
- Collaboration across design, UX, and art teams
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of 3D tools like Blender, Cinema4d, Maya or Max
- Motion Graphics skills
- Knowledge of creating UI for modern video game consoles
- Experience wireframing UI
The EA SPORTS UFC team is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and offers a salary range of $86,600 - $118,600 CAD. Benefits include vacation time, sick leave, health and dental insurance, and a retirement plan.
