Physical Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Atrium Health Lincoln Acute Care Rehab.

The successful candidate will provide direct therapy services to patients, evaluate patients, and develop care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to patients admitted to a level of care where service provision is required 7 days a week, including holidays
• Evaluate patients, select and administer assessment techniques, and synthesize information to establish patient care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, patients, and families
• Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate patient evaluations and progress to physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aides as required

Physical Requirements:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, crouch, crawl, and reach overhead
• Lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Lateral transfer of patients up to 100 pounds

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• BLS certification
