Description
As a Staff Product Designer at Samsara, you will set a vision and ship work that shapes the way customers and internal teams operate.
You will partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders, set interaction patterns and visual systems, and build relationships with strategic customers.
This role involves leading large initiatives, being a tastemaker, and demonstrating good judgment in your domain.
Responsibilities:
- Lead large, ambiguous initiatives across multiple product areas
- Be a tastemaker and demonstrate good judgment in your domain
- Regularly meet and engage with strategic customers
- Leverage AI tools throughout the design process
- Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and technology
- Ship code to production across design systems, web products, and mobile apps
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product design experience
- Strong portfolio and/or case studies showing design craft and quantified impact
- Deep interaction and visual design skills
- Experience with AI tools in regular design practice
- Experience mentoring designers and partnering with senior leadership
