Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Navicent Health Medical Center - Inpatient Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients to help them recover from injuries or illnesses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to develop effective treatment plans
• Provide care in accordance with physician's orders and communicate with healthcare team members
• Assess and document patient outcomes criteria at initial and discharge evaluations
• Demonstrate knowledge of physical therapy modalities and operate equipment safely and correctly
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and evaluate effectiveness of learning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

• Georgia license in physical therapy
• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, time management skills, and flexibility
• Ability to lift 25-60 lbs. and carry 25-50 pounds
