Description
We are looking for an IT Network Engineer to strengthen our team, contribute to the development and improvement of the company's IT infrastructure, ensure stable network system operation, and implement new technological solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning, continuous functioning, high availability, and security of the entire IT infrastructure.
- Managing complex architectural projects, implementing automation, and mentoring junior specialists.
- Participation in projects related to network interaction within and outside the company, checking compliance with requirements, and commissioning.
- Communication with subcontractors and providers/operators of communication services. Consulting with representatives of telecommunication equipment vendors. Collaboration with integrators to solve complex problems.
- Market analysis of telecommunications technologies and equipment, making proposals for network modernization. Participation in the process of purchasing telecommunications equipment and services at the level of selection and verification of solutions for compliance with business requirements.
- Implementation of the global IT strategy of the Holding when connecting and configuring new enterprises in the network. Accompaniment of internal and external audits.
- Organization of secure limited access for subcontractors to information resources within the network.
- Monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting: in-depth traffic analysis using packet analysis tools (Wireshark) and Flow analysis systems (NetFlow, sFlow) to solve complex performance problems.
- Network Observability: configuration and operation of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Cisco DNA Center). Incident management: performing the role of a third-line expert (L3 Support) in resolving critical network failures.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: understanding of various cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and others, including their services and capabilities.
- Strategic planning: ability to develop and implement strategic plans for IT infrastructure development that meet the organization's business needs.
- IT architecture: understanding of principles and practices of designing and developing IT infrastructure, including network architecture, data storage, and computing environments.
- Network skills: understanding of basic network concepts, including network configuration, routing, VPN, and network security.
- Cloud service security: technologies and methods for load distribution, methods for protecting the network from unauthorized access, including network firewalls, web application firewall technologies.
- Architecture and strategy: development and implementation of IT infrastructure development strategy (On-premise, Cloud, or Hybrid). Design of highly reliable (HA) and disaster-resistant (DR) systems. Evaluation and selection of new technologies, conducting Proof of Concept (PoC).
- System and network management: supervision of network infrastructure: routing, switching, security (Firewalls, VPN).
Specific skills:
- Project management: experience in managing projects for deployment and support of IT infrastructure, including updates, migrations, and integrations of new systems.
- Troubleshooting: ability to quickly find causes of critical failures (Root Cause Analysis).
- Mentoring: mentoring for junior/middle engineers.
- Intermediate-level English language skills.
