Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (Building Services) to join our team in Cambridge. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on exciting and challenging projects, collaborating with like-minded individuals. You will be part of the National MEP Team of nearly 400 MEP engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on projects as part of the overall project team, meeting the requirements of an 'Engineer' grade
- Use your own initiative with supervision on technical aspects of electrical engineering in building services
- Interpret project needs and consider feasibility specific to the discipline
- Complete detailed design and performance specifications, providing design and technical advice with a multidisciplinary approach
- Review and input to the detailed design programme, ensuring sufficient resources are available
Requirements:
- Experience as an electrical engineer in building services
- Understanding of UK and European regulations applicable to the discipline
- UK project experience within Building Services MEP
- Proficiency in electrical design software packages, including Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Ability to sketch and communicate technical details graphically

Qualifications:
- BEng/BSc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline
- CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council accredited honours degree or specific experience leading to Chartership
- Working towards I Eng or C Eng status
- RevitMEP training applied to the discipline
