Physical Therapist

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will plan, organise and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease
• Develop and implement therapeutic plans, modifying them as necessary
• Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards
• Document client/patient/resident information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment

Schedule Details:

• Full-Time 35-40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday (weekdays/weekends/holidays can be flexible)
• Paid travel and mileage between home health patients
