Physical Therapist I - Acute Care

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I - Acute Care to join our team at Atrium Health University City.

As a Physical Therapist I - Acute Care, you will provide direct therapy services to patients admitted to a level of care where service provision is required 7 days a week, including holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate care plans
• Provide supervision of PTA's and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure
• Document evaluations, tests, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate patient's evaluation and progress to physician, referral sources, and other clinical staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy program required
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy required
• BLS required per policy guidelines

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced clinical environment
• Work is primarily indoors but occasionally outdoors
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and transferring patients

• Monday - Thursday 2pm - 7PM, Friday 3- 7 PM
• 24 hours per week
