Operator (Gene)

We are seeking an Operator (Gene) to join our Production team at GenScript Biotech Corporation in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, label, and test reagents according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring quality and accurate records.
• Manage plasmid bank operations, including receipt, registration, storage, issuance, and stock-take, maintaining consistent records.
• Requisition, register, and manage materials using first-in-first-out and expiry-management practices.
• Perform data entry and record keeping using Windows, MES system, and paper laboratory records.
• Complete daily tasks as per SOPs and supervisors' instructions, reporting any anomalies promptly.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or life sciences preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and complete tasks as required.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and honest in record keeping.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in Windows operating system and common office software.
• Ability to work shift schedules.
• Experience in reagent preparation, testing, or quality control is advantageous.
• Experience with MES, LIMS, ERP, or other laboratory or inventory management systems is beneficial.
• Good bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese.
