Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Anna, Ohio. As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer, you will lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in the areas of Mass Production, Business Plan, and New Model to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale characteristic targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure common understanding and direction.
• Review and analyze daily reports to identify safety, quality, and delivery gaps and develop countermeasures.
• Utilize data analysis and Plan Do Check Act to lead and support solutions with related groups.
• Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance.
• Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training and mentoring.
• Establish priorities and make decisions based on data analytics.
• Manage project implementation, schedule, budget, and resource allocations.
• Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve equipment and process efficiency.
• Develop and manage investment and expense budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in engineering or engineering technology with relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience if no degree.
• Manufacturing co-op experience preferred.
• Computer literacy with industry-standard software applications.
• Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership capabilities and strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems.

Working Conditions:
