Description
We are seeking a Contracts Associate to prepare and negotiate site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts for sponsors. You will maintain and contribute to contracts tracking and status systems, support the maintenance of paper and electronic file systems, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Prepare, negotiate, and execute site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts
- Maintain and update contracts tracking and status systems
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and internal processes
- Identify and escalate issues to line managers for review
- Manage assigned studies and ensure timely updating of contract tracking systems
- Perform contract administration functions, including obtaining approvals and maintaining contract records
- Support line managers with departmental goals and initiatives
- Provide regular status updates on open contracts and outstanding issues
- Draft, negotiate, review, and process contracts in a commercially reasonable manner
- Apply knowledge of ICH GCP principles and quality standard procedures
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor's degree (LLB, JD, BA or BS) preferred; university-level law degree preferred (UK/EU)
- Relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements may be considered
Experience (Minimum Required):
- Minimum 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
