Senior Medical Science Liaison, Cardiorenal (New Orleans, LA/Gulf Coast)

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a trusted scientific expert and partner representing Bayer in the medical community through the dissemination of and education on scientific data related to Bayer products across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain long-term scientific relationships with key healthcare providers and stakeholders
• Provide scientific expertise and education on Bayer products
• Collaborate with internal business partners and external contacts to address scientific and educational needs
• Identify educational gaps and provide recommendations for educational resources
• Develop and deliver educational presentations to external audiences
• Support research projects and clinical trials
• Generate insights on HCP and stakeholder needs and preferences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive medical strategy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field
• Experience in a scientific or healthcare clinical setting or pharmaceutical industry experience
• MSL experience required
• Demonstrated project management ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to critically evaluate medical literature
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Valid Driver's License and eligibility to drive a company car

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced terminal Doctorate degree in medical or health sciences
• Working knowledge of FDA, OIG requirements
• Cardiorenal experience

Salary Range: $156,000 to $234,000 per year, with additional compensation and benefits
