Job Summary: As a Product & Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement product and sales strategies for battery solutions, continuously enhance the product portfolio, and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Product Management:

• Develop and implement product and sales strategies for battery solutions
• Monitor product and business development through analysis, evaluation, and active participation in strategic planning and decision-making processes
• Identify and assess technological trends and regulatory developments and their impact on the business
• Define research and development priorities based on market and product strategy
• Represent AVL at conferences, trade fairs, and in specialist publications

Business Development:

• Lead and motivate international sales teams for responsible products
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies based on market analysis, customer requirements, and portfolio opportunities
• Create convincing sales materials and offer packages in close collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing
• Support bid creation and conduct sales qualification training to strengthen commercial success and customer loyalty

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a technical or economic field
• Several years of experience in business development, technical sales, or product management in the battery industry or a comparable field
• Strong strategic, analytical, and business management skills
• Experience in leading cross-functional, international teams in a global and intercultural environment
• Good understanding of market mechanisms and product lifecycle management
• Affinity with AI and sovereign handling of modern AI tools for market analysis, strategic planning, and business development
• Fluent English, German, and additional foreign languages are beneficial

Salary: The annual reference salary for this position is €105,000 gross.
