Description
We are seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and improve software platforms that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
The successful candidate will have experience with Kubernetes platform engineering, cloud engineering across AWS and/or Azure, and deploying and operating AI agents or LLM-based services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Staying informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contributing to the organisation's technology communities.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

The location of this role is Knutsford, Glasgow, or Manchester.
