The Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an integral part of the development process, delivering actionable insights to support game teams in optimising software performance and elevating gameplay.
The Head of Product Experience, FC, will partner closely with senior production and creative leaders to ensure that all FC player experiences exceed player expectations, validated through large and small-scale playtesting, research, competitive analysis, and understanding the community. You will apply your in-depth knowledge of football and game development to objectively evaluate experiential quality, ensuring gameplay, modes, and live services authentically reflect the sport, its culture, and evolving fan expectations across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, grow, and evolve the Experiential Quality function within the FC franchise, building a team focused on driving positive impact on quality and player experience.
- Support strategic planning and execution for new and current experiences within the EA Sports FC ecosystem.
- Work closely with the FC Product team to establish a quality assessment framework that translates player experience goals into actionable insights.
- Champion a rigorous, player-centric quality approach by leveraging research, player sentiment, and data to guide every decision about experiential quality.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partner teams and contribute significantly to the broader Product Centre.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of game production, game design, or game product leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Past experience with football-related games and products strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of design thinking, user experience, and systems-level product development.
- Influence-oriented, with excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
- Strong track record of influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience with development tools, metrics, and risk management frameworks.
