Housing Welding Technician IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Welding Technician IV to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Fletcher, NC.

As a Housing Welding Technician IV, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve Quality: You will apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, and perform quality inspections to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Support Maintenance: You will provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and support equipment failure analysis.
• Optimize Processes: You will work with peers and support staff to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes.
• Encourage Teamwork: You will communicate effectively with your team and participate in training and development.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
• Licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations may be required.

Shift Details:

• This is a Fri-Sun Skilled Technician role.
• The shift will be from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Compensation:

• Base Rate: $21.49 - $31.28/hr
