Server-Side Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Server-Side Software Engineer to join our product and platform development team. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality and highly scalable products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop product features for 820M monthly active users, scaling to 100K+ RPS
• Take ownership of product features and ensure their quality
• Write clean code with proper test coverage
• Review others' code to meet organization standards
• Build reusable modules and libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of medium to large-scale server-side software development experience
• Good knowledge of CS fundamentals: data structures and time complexity of algorithms
• Proficiency in a backend programming language like Clojure or Java
• Familiarity with Posix compliant operating systems
• Experience with CLI tools for day-to-day tasks
• Unit testing experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of functional programming (Clojure)
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Postgresql at scale
• Frontend development knowledge, especially JavaScript and React
