Description
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Cover Supervisor to join our team at Walthamstow Academy, a part of United Learning. As a Cover Supervisor, you will teach or supervise lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, providing support to students and ensuring they meet their learning objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise work set by teachers and respond to student queries
- Ensure students understand learning objectives and reflect on their learning
- Support students with different needs and promote equality of access to opportunities
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and work completed
- Assist with day-to-day tasks, including break and lunchtime duties, exam invigilation, and in-class learning support
