Description
We are seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Principal Hardware Engineer, you will have end-to-end responsibility for designing and delivering products. You will work closely with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to understand market requirements and develop architecture details. Your responsibilities will include defining architecture, product description details, and authoring hardware functional specifications. You will also be responsible for complete hardware design flow, including schematic entry, selecting components, and working with various teams such as eCAD, PCB Layout, SI, Power, Mechanical, Thermal, and FPGA.
You will work with CM and/or ODM to take the product through its complete lifecycle, from proto to production. You will also be involved in hardware bring-up, testing, and supporting various test teams. Additionally, you will work closely with the diagnostic software team for design validation and manufacturing testing.
As a Principal Hardware Engineer, you will have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. You will apply in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. You will provide technical leadership for significant project/program work and lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives.
