Physical Therapist - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy Harris YMCA in Charlotte, NC. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans, and provide therapy sessions to help patients achieve their goals. You will work closely with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
• Provide evidence-based interventions to help patients meet their functional goals
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Techs/Aides as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required
• Occasional climbing stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending, crouching, crawling, and reaching overhead
