LSEG Data & Analytics is seeking a passionate Lead Engineer to help build robust, enterprise-grade solutions that drive real-world impact.
As a Lead Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs, develops, and delivers products and services that reimagine how the industry works. You will drive innovation through digitalisation and AI, delivering accelerated impact and excellence for customers every day.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience with one of the following technologies – Java, Python, C++ or C#. You will also need to have:
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization for enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and evaluating emerging technologies to improve developer productivity and product innovation.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, unit testing framework and automation (testing/deployment) in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Curiosity about AI and a strong interest in how emerging technologies can be applied to solve complex software engineering problems.
- Prior Financial Services or Big Tech experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering and related field or relevant experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies across the full stack.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and timezones.
