Description
As a Senior Buyer at TEKEVER, you will lead source-to-contract activity for indirect spend, shaping requirements with stakeholders and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure business needs are met.
You will cover categories such as facilities, IT, software, and professional services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Challenging, clarifying, and improving internal specifications and requirements to enable efficient sourcing
- Leading commercial negotiations with existing and prospective suppliers
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing supplier contracts, framework agreements, and SLAs
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories
- Managing and developing procurement team members
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and budget holders
- Championing continuous improvement across the function
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of indirect procurement categories such as facilities, IT, software, or professional services
- Experience developing and executing category or sourcing strategies and running competitive tender processes
- Experience leading commercial negotiations and agreeing contracts for complex or high-value projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience of using ERP/MRP systems
- An understanding of supplier and third-party risk
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Experience managing and developing procurement team members
