Developer Relations

As Developer Relations at Anthropic, you will help developers discover, onboard, and get the most out of Claude Code, Claude Tag, and future developer products.

This role is pivotal in helping developers adopt Claude-powered products, growing the developer ecosystem, gathering crucial feedback to inform product development, and ensuring products are used responsibly, safely, and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Technical Strategy and Impact: Shape how developers discover and engage with Anthropic's developer products, build frameworks for measuring developer success, prioritize community and content initiatives, and partner with product and engineering teams.
• Set the Bar for Developer Relations Craft: Define world-class AI developer relations, model excellence in technical content and developer engagement, and contribute to evolving DevRel processes.
• Drive Scaled Developer Adoption and Success: Understand diverse developer needs, partner with GTM, Sales, and Marketing, lead high-impact developer events, and generate high-quality technical content.
• Drive Alignment Through Cross-Functional Collaboration: Advocate for developer needs, collaborate with Research, Communications, and Marketing, and promote best practices for responsible AI use.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer experience, or technical product/engineering roles.
• Technically credible with deep understanding of AI/ML and API concepts.
• Hands-on technical ability to write production-quality code demos and critically review developer samples.
• Real insight into developer psychology and behavior.
• Passionate about AI's potential and committed to ensuring it's developed responsibly.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with large language models or generative AI.
• Background in AI safety, ethics, or responsible AI development.
• Public speaking experience at industry conferences.
• Content creation experience.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $290,000-$435,000 USD
