Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Maintenance – Level III person to join our team specializing in Manufacturing at our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
  • Candidates must possess direct experience in troubleshooting and breaking down various CNC machines, forging presses, furnaces, SPM, etc.
  • Should be knowledgeable about CNC machine architecture, PLC programming, mechanical drawings, hydraulic systems, etc.
  • Familiarity with forging presses and billet heating systems is essential.
  • Firsthand experience with Fanuc robots is considered an added advantage.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to resolve minor and critical issues with a proactive "yes I can do it" attitude.
  • It is necessary to provide detailed, clear, and accurate data through EMaint, including downtime, information, labor, etc.
  • Routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities must be performed.
  • Adherence to safety norms and guidelines.
  • Active participation in turnover and improvement meetings is expected.

Shift Premium: $1.00/hr Min Salary: $56800 Max Salary: $85200
