As a Playtester on The Sims, you will play The Sims 4 and upcoming content to provide timely, player-focused feedback that helps the team better understand how Simmers experience the game. Your feedback will help the team evaluate whether new features, content, and gameplay moments feel intuitive, meaningful, fun, and authentic to The Sims.
You are the voice of the Sims player. You understand the community and the many ways players engage with the game, including storytelling, legacy challenges, mod-aware play, long-form saves, and community-driven trends. You can shift between different player perspectives, from new player to dedicated Simmer, and clearly explain what feels exciting, confusing, rewarding, repetitive, or disconnected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely player feedback.
- Evaluate if features feel intuitive, meaningful, fun, and authentic to The Sims.
- Represent Sims playstyles such as storytelling, challenges, mod-aware play, etc.
- Share clear observations on what feels exciting, confusing, frustrating, or disconnected.
Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Passionate and experienced player of The Sims 4.
- Strong understanding of The Sims community and player motivations.
- Familiar with storytelling, challenges, mods, custom content, or community trends.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
