Description

We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our team as an intern in Lightweight Vehicle Development. As an intern, you will work on innovative lightweight concepts and component optimization to ensure Porsche remains a benchmark in the industry.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Developing innovative lightweight concepts
  • System and component optimization
  • Analyzing competitor vehicles (benchmarking)
  • Participating in lightweight workshops within the team
  • Collaborating with weight and sustainability management

The internship will start in September/October 2026 and last for 5-6 months.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, aerospace engineering, or similar (at least in the 3rd semester or gap year between bachelor and master)
  • Passion for lightweight construction and weight management
  • Initial experience with calculation and optimization software as well as design tools
  • Team and communication skills
  • Fluent German and ideally English language skills
