Project Engineering Management, Principal Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineering and project management professional to join our team as a Principal Engineer in Project Engineering Management.

You will partner with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria. You will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, track project execution, and communicate project status to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
• Tracking project execution against plan, identifying risks and issues, and driving mitigation, escalation, and resolution
• Communicating project status, milestones, and key risks to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
• Representing R&D in customer engagements, ensuring alignment on commitments, execution plans, and delivery expectations
• Evaluating and managing change requests and technical issues reported by customers
• Managing product updates triggered by silicon process updates, design updates, and customer feedback
• Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IP Program Management teams during pre-sales and post-sales activities
• Ensuring adherence to quality management system processes and driving continuous improvement in project execution
• Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and innovative working environment

Requirements:

• A degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing project or program management roles within an engineering environment
• Strong ability to manage customer expectations and communicate complex technical topics clearly and concisely
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project preferred) and issue-tracking systems such as Jira
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
• Familiarity with the development process for Mixed-Signal IP, SoC, or ASIC development programs
• Understanding of quality management system (QMS) processes and procedures
• Excellent organisational, time-management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
