Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County. As a casual or per diem Physical Therapist, you will provide inpatient acute care coverage with potential outpatient hours based on your skill set. You will work a minimum of 12 shifts per calendar year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care assessment and treatment
- Ensure patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and functional
- Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals
- Supervise support staff and provide direction and feedback
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
- Meet department financial and productivity standards
- Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
- Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers
Requirements:
- B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school
- Current licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
- Previous hospital experience preferred
Work Environment:
- Subject to stress conditions

- Contact with patients under various circumstances
