The Launched Effects team at Anduril is responsible for scaling the manufacturing and delivery of the Altius family of systems, including the Altius-600 and Altius-700.
As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems are tested to stringent standards, consistently shipping high-quality products to customers, and meeting required throughput requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing
- Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream
- Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage
- Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides/diagrams for fast issue resolution
- Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on test outcomes
- Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment
- Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, Python, and NixOS
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment
- Strong root cause analysis skills
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, and/or MATLAB for data parsing and data visualization
- Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design
- Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies
- Experience with ESS-related testing
- Active Security Clearance
The position is permanently based in Ashville, OH, and requires candidates to temporarily relocate for a comprehensive 3-month training program.
Salary Range: $111,000-$147,000 USD
