Tech Official - Monster Jam

As a Tech Official for Monster Jam, you will oversee and execute all operational aspects of a Monster Jam event from setup to execution and teardown.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct inspections of competing vehicles.
• Coordinate all vehicle and performer activity on the floor.
• Install safety holds, banners, plywood flooring, lighting, electrical systems, pack, unpack, and organize supplies, and paint.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift, utility cart, and other construction equipment.
• Oversee, maintain, and enforce safety for all participants and spectators.
• Stage monster trucks, handle race flagging, maintain order of the pit area, and organize vehicle and people traffic in tunnels.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 3 years of experience with Monster Jam events is preferred.
• Prior motorsports or entertainment experience is preferred.
• Participation in the annual USHRA Training Summit is required.
• You must be available to travel both domestically and internationally, and work nights and weekends as needed.
• Experience with various hand and power tools is necessary.
• Mechanical, carpentry, electrical, and welding experience is preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• Physical demands include running, lifting 50+ lbs, and climbing ladders.
• You must be a team player, organized, task-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter with a strong understanding of reporting structures.
