Design Solutions Senior Engineer

We are seeking a Design Solutions Senior Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will play a key role in new model development, utilizing virtual maturation of product manufacturability and process development.

Job Purpose: New Model development utilizing virtual maturation of product manufacturability and process development. Requirement confirmation for North America Frame to prevent costly manufacturing related die loss.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for new model development and utilize Delmia/Catia for North America manufactured models
• Confirm manufacturing requirements for past problem history items assigned for North America manufactured models
• Support and correlate Delmia/Catia Virtual Confirmation Build/Data Reviews preparation and conduct the VCBs for all events through Die-go
• Participate in theme activities to improve Virtual Maturation and simulations (IC.IDO) for all North America manufactured models

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or equivalent relevant experience (Paint preferred)
• 2+ years combined experience in new model development or manufacturing (Paint preferred)
• Experience with Enovia, Catia, Delmia, AHEAD
• Knowledge of Honda new model development

Working Conditions:

• 0 ~ 5 hours of overtime per week
• 0 ~ 10% travel
• Full Time On-site with flexibility
