Senior Product Manager

Electronic Arts' Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the product management for The Sims FreePlay. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, market, and support Sims FreePlay. You will be responsible for prioritizing product features, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the team is working on the most impactful tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to provide new experiences and features to players
• Maximize titles' acquisition, engagement, monetization, and fun
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication
• Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Oversee the development stages, ensuring the final product meets defined requirements
• Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
• Analyze games industry market trends and competitor strategies
• Manage virtual economies and economy models
• Use analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor game performance, tune mechanics, and identify new opportunities and features to improve user conversion, retention, and monetization
• Coordinate with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles both in-game and externally to optimize response/ROI
• Work with Director of Product in business planning and KPI setting for the team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in product management within consumer web and e-commerce products
• Experience using Excel or BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) to build dashboards and produce insights
• Experience in a B2C product management environment where the consumer is the priority
• Knowledge of Agile process and principles with experience with product management tools like JIRA or Trello
• Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners
• Strong understanding of the gaming industry and market trends
• Games industry experience is desirable with Mobile expertise as a plus
• Passion for the Sims Franchise is a plus
• BA/BS degree – CS/EE/Engineering degree; MBA preferred
