- Commissioning Support: Partner closely with internal engineers and external OEM/integrators during the start up of new production lines.
- Baseline Establishment: Help build our maintenance infrastructure from scratch by assisting in creating new standard operating procedures (SOPs), spare parts inventories, and Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Automation, Robotics & Electrical
- Troubleshoot, program adjustments, and support industrial robotics, including teach pendant operation, mastering, calibration, and mechanical rebuilds.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to trace I/O, resolve hardware faults, and safely execute program resets.
- Troubleshoot electrical components up to 480V 3-phase, including servo drives, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, proximity switches, and safety circuits.
- Interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, P&IDs, and technical equipment manuals.
- Conveyance & General Mechanical Machinery
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on high-speed conveyance systems (belt, roller, chain, overhead), sorting systems, and automated transfer systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical components including gearboxes, motors, drive assemblies, bearings, shafts, belts, and pulleys.
- Troubleshoot and rebuild pneumatic and hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, manifolds, regulators, and compressors).
- Perform basic machining, fabrication, and welding repairs as needed to support production continuity.
- Preventative Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
- Execute rigorous Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work orders, parts usage, and root-cause solutions.
- Perform rapid root-cause failure analysis (RCFA) to prevent repeat breakdowns.
- Actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and 5S initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash safety (NFPA 70E), OSHA regulations, and company safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, which requires regular interaction with production and manufacturing stakeholders and frequently working directly on the production floor.

- Proven experience repairing complex automated conveyance systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC standards, and safe work practices around 480V systems.
- Proficient in the use of standard hand/power tools, precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators), and electrical test equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters).
- Must be able to work the designated shift (1st or 2nd) and be available for occasional overtime or weekend support as production schedules require.
- U.S. citizenship is required pursuant to contractual obligations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or vocational certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
- Formal certifications in FANUC, KUKA, ABB, or Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley systems.
- Experience in high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or high-speed packaging.
