Description
We are seeking a Painter and Decorator to join the team at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, with a salary of up to £15.00 per hour depending on experience, training, and qualifications.
The successful candidate will provide painting and decorating services to Circle Health Group facilities, including internal and external aspects of the premises. Responsibilities include:
- Providing touch-up and fabric refurbishment services on a reactive and rolling programme basis
- Offering competent advice on redecoration and fabric repair requirements throughout the facilities
- Ensuring redecoration in line with Circle Health Group property lease obligations, including exterior redecoration every 5 years and interior redecoration every 7 years
- Redecorating internal clinical areas of the premises when major equipment is replaced, or at least every 10 years
- Complying with all relevant mandatory training
To apply, you should have:
- A current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at the appropriate level of qualification
- Training in high working, including PASMA/ladder use
- Ability to hang various types and styles of wall coverings
- Experience working alongside contractors and others
- Understanding of COSHH regulations and health and safety guidelines
