The Claude Platform serves developers and enterprises at scale, and the Developer Experience (DevX) team owns the surfaces those developers touch every day: the Console, the docs platform, and SDKs and CLI.
As a Staff+ Software Engineer, Developer Experience, you will help drive technical direction for the Console and docs platform, working with product and design from problem definition through launch. You will also own the SDKs across seven languages plus the CLI, partnering with API teams to ensure new platform capabilities land in the SDKs as idiomatic, ergonomic features on day one.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of practical full-stack engineering experience
- 2+ years operating at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
- Led the design and delivery of complex, developer-facing products across the full stack
- Technical expert in modern frontend and backend development, with demonstrated depth in key languages and frameworks (e.g., React, Typescript)
- Product-focused approach to building solutions that are robust, scalable, and easy to use
- Experience working in early start-up or fast-moving environments
- Strong mentorship and growth skills for peers
- Experience establishing engineering standards, component architectures, and development best practices
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and navigate ambiguity

Annual Salary: $405,000-$485,000 USD
